I started tennis late in life and for years just played non-competitively with my wife, giving her doubles outs. As such, I focused a lot more on returning than an offensive game plan. I've tried to work on that the last few years, but basically, if I am running, I am happy. I am smiling most of the time when playing, because it is a privilege to have the opportunity. I'm as happy when you do well as when I do well. I am comfortable with all genders, all ages, and if someone is just starting out, I can play mini-tennis for two hours and enjoy it.
